I am a single man insurance company. I am on the road most of the day, visiting with clients or taking care of their insur-ance problems. I used to hire an answering service to take care of my calls while I was out of my office. I was never sure if all my callers were get-ting adequate atten-tion. One of my cli-ents got into an acci-dent and called my office. My answer-ing service was busy with personal chores and could not attend customer’s call. Needless to say, I lost that cus-tomer. I looked around for a better solu-tion and found out about XOP Networks Voicemail Central service.

The XOP Networks Mass Notification Service allows a Moderator to send multi-modal (voice, SMS, email and pages) alerts to his/her group members. These alerts can be used for emergency communications (e.g. weather alerts, crime watch alerts etc.) or for sending routine informational messages (e.g., board meeting invitation, ladies luncheon etc.).

The XOP Networks Firebar Conferencing Service allows a number of out dialed voice calls to be launched triggered by an incoming phone call. As the out dialed calls are answered, the recipients are placed in an audio conference with the initiator. This service can be used by for e.g., a Fire Chief trying to get hold of Voluntary Firemen in an emergency situation.
