XOP Networks’ ‘Bring Your Own Server’ Approach Lowers Cost of Audio Conference Bridges

We pride ourselves at being on the forefront of Conference Bridge technology. Thanks to the flexibility and efficiency gained through BYOS Package we have successfully deployed our conference bridges on all six continents

XOP Networks, Inc., a developer of Value Added Service (VAS) software based platforms and Audio Conference Bridges announced availability of ‘Bring Your Own Server’ or BYOS Package. This package provides self install build software and tools that a customer can use to take a third party server and convert it into a SIP based Audio Conference Bridge.

The BYOS package provides a customer access to XOP Networks’ Self Install Build Software, Installation Guides, Training Materials and other collaterals. A customer can simply download the build software and install it on a qualified third party server and convert it into an SIP based Audio Conference Bridge. The BYOS approach reduces the time from order to be in-service to less than 24 hours.

The BYOS approach works with TDM networks and VoIP/SIP networks. In case of TDM environment, XOP Networks provides a variety of third party media gateway modules that convert analog FXS/FXO or T1/E1/PRI interfaces to VoIP/SIP. The SIP trunk then can interface with the SIP based Conference Bridge.

“We pride ourselves at being on the forefront of Conference Bridge technology. Thanks to the flexibility and efficiency gained through BYOS Package we have successfully deployed our conference bridges on all five continents,” said Sudhir Gupta, XOP Networks’ CEO.

“The significant advantages of the BYOS package make it our preferred way of delivering our systems to our customers and to our resellers,” said Doug Jacobs, VP of Marketing, XOP Networks.
